This multi-billion dollar hedge fund manages assets across the full product spectrum with strategies including both the quantitative and discretionary approach to investments.  We are looking for an experienced portfolio manager focusing on the industrials sector either within Europe or globally to join the long/short team.  

The fund puts emphasis on getting the fundamentals right before making investments and would expect PM’s to share this view.  Portfolio managers joining the team will be expected to have a verified long/short track record with low volatility and consistent positive returns, a minor hiccup can be understood anything more than this and interest will be significantly diminished.

The funds model is based around generating absolute returns without being pure market neutral and also remaining fairly limited on the directional side. 

There is a lot of flexibility in this position and scope to explore various opportunities as long as sensibly justified.  If you feel that you have the skills and track record to make a serious application for this position you will in turn be presented with the opportunity to join a firmly established organisation with a sizable AUM and collegial working environment.
