BUSINESS LEAD, EMERGING MARKETS RESEARCH

MIDDLE EAST and AFRICA.



This is a significant career opportunity to develop and lead a whole business unit for a fast growing player in emerging markets research. The role will include all aspects of client relationship management through to fulfilment of 'off the shelf' research projects whilst overseeing a large team of analysts.



Our client has significant growth ambitions, and is looking for an exceptional candidate able to build the business as part of the leadership team. To be considered, you should have gained seniority in a research position, and so be confident in the use of a full range of research methodologies. This position is client-facing.



Interest is sought from expert research professionals who have led and built teams of research analysts and can show experience of managing end-to-end research services and/or an entire business research function. Given the growth plans of this company, it is imperative that you relish change, show creativeness and vision and can handle ambiguity. The post-holder will be expected to grow with the company, in time building teams in other locations. Fluency in English is essential.



This opportunity is exceptional as it brings together commercial responsibility, with research team leadership. The perfect candidate will have experience in sales or service development of research products or bespoke consultancy. You will be certainly be competent in designing client offerings including scoping, pricing and delivering research projects from scratch. You should be able to manage a function's P&L and also to scrutinise performance and management information, as you will report directly into the Board.
