The Essar Group is looking for an experienced corporate finance analyst to join its New York office.

Position requirements:

• Design and create of management presentations
• Create financial models including:  M&A, Project Financing, operating models and ad-hoc analysis  
• Perform valuation analysis: DCF, comparable companies and precedent acquisitions
• Create detailed management presentations: M&A opportunities, industry reports, company profiles, transaction overviews and information memorandums
• Familiarity with steel, mining, oil or power sectors preferred
• High attention to detail
• Can deliver quality work on time in a demanding and fast paced environment

Candidate must have:  

Four-year college degree with a major in finance, economics or related field
1-3 years of investment banking analyst experience (M&A, Sponsors or Sector Coverage Groups)
Closed at least one transaction
Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Live in New York Metropolitan Area
Able to start immediately
Able and willing to travel internationally
