IAM works within HR providing expatriate and relocation expertise to International Assignees, line managers and other functions within HR for all divisions and all locations. IA Operations provides support to the IAM function by managing the IAM applications and the global tax and compensation processes.
This is a project specific role supporting and operating the HR Core Process for the Bank’s cross border movers together with ongoing data maintenance, support and process definition.
Key Roles are:
• Supporting global processes for International Assignees
• IA specialist tax role – Advising on tax and social security aspects of deferred compensation and cash incentives
• System definition and requirements and on-going data maintenance
• Process definition – schedule guidelines and support for Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), Pool Managers, Regional IAM and payroll
• Facilitation of the review of and execution of the salary and incentive payments for IAs
• Execution of incentive payments, including accounting for tax withholding and hypothetical tax calculations
• Implementation of new salary information reflecting changes of salary, rank and cost of living adjustments
• Ensures communication of correct information to payrolls
• Co-ordination globally across locations and divisions per policy application
• Acts as intermediary between tax, compensation and local HR issues for IAs
You will have demonstrable experience of working within an analytical/financial environment dealing with tax, be a strong communicator and be able to work with limited supervision and to tight deadlines.
You will have an understanding of cost processing processes and HR data management/ procedures. You will have a general understanding of business principals and of basic accounting principals
You will have a strong focus on delivery to the business, a global perspective and a commitment to the interrelationships across the HR team.
