Senior Fund Accountant - Alternative Funds (Ref 0807-36ET)

Your responsibilities will mainly include :

• performing an analytical review of the NAV for the clients Funds
• identifying and correct potential errors or misstatements in the funds valuation / associated reporting
• reviewing Prime Broker/Custodian security and cash positions versus Fund Accounting records
• liaising with the investment managers, client, prime brokers, internal departments, ...
• reviewing the valuation of securities
• reviewing fee accruals and expenses posted to valuations
• reviewing performance fees and equalisation
• reviewing level of hedging for foreign currency classes

Your profile:

• 2 year experience in the hedge fund industry
• strong knowledge of general accounting and Luxembourg investment funds accounting.
• sound knowledge of financial instruments including derivatives.
• fluent written and spoken English
• PC literate
• initiative taker willing to learn in a constantly changing environment
• high level of accuracy with attention to detail
