Our client, a Life Insurance Company distributing its products in all the countries of the European Union, is looking for a Technical Accounting Specialist to reinforce their team and to bring added value to its Accounting Department.

THE ROLE

As a Technical Accounting Specialist you will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist with accounting and analyze all relative financial statements and related data’s on an ongoing monthly basis.
• Take part of various projects/analyses and prepare internal and external reporting.
• Provide advices and assistance regarding accounting policies and practices and new systems developments.
• Control and respect accounting policies, practices and procedures.
• Be part of projects together with senior management.
• Manage and develop a team in order to enhance their technical accounting

  THE PROFILE

  • University degree (bac +4) in business/accounting or finance.
  • A previous experience of 7 years in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Certified Public Accountant qualification is an advantage.
  • External audit experience preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
