A very successful Equity Derivatives EQD market making firm is expanding to the fast growing Asian market. They are seeking to hire an operations officer for their new Hong Kong office.

- Working within the Operations Department to understand business requirements and within to design efficient and scalable solutions.

- To conduct regular checks on software, price differences, various trades and more.

- Liaising regularly with traders, brokers and clearing banks.

- Handling and dealing with various issues throughout the day.

- You will directly contribute to the success of the team and the company in a very important way.

Requirements:

- University level education.

- A minimum 1 year experience in a similar position and/ or industry.

- Good knowledge in Equity Derivatives EQD is preferred.

- Sound knowledge and working experience Microsoft Office – particularly Excel.

- Above average trouble-shooting capabilities.

- Affinity with numbers and enjoy related problem solving.

- Well developed critical thinking skills with an ability to identify and develop resolutions to often complex problems.

- A pro-active, self-starting personality who can think abstractly and has an inquisitive mind.

- A team player who works equally well independently and is very accurate. - Flexible attitude to working hours.

- No 9-5 mentality.

- Open to new challenges daily.

- Driven, energetic, enthusiastic, mature and confident.
