As Legal Director, you will take responsibility for managing the legal affairs of the company in Luxembourg. You will become the main contact of the business line and will be involved in the implementation of international corporate and financial structures.

For one of our clients, a financial institution, we are looking for a: Legal Director m/f: Job Description:
 

• You will provide and co-ordinate legal support to the business in Luxembourg, and will be required to travel from time to time;
• You will advice and assist the company by analysing relevant issues, identifying the corresponding legal risks and protect the interest of the company;
• You will keep your legal knowledge up-to-date and actively share your knowledge with our staff members by providing training;
• You will be responsible for the regular review and update of the contracts for the company;
• You will together with Compliance ensure that the company complies with relevant laws, regulations and industry rules.

Your Profile
 

• Holder of a university degree in Law, you have minimum 5 years experience in a similar position in a Trust, law firm or financial institution;
• You have excellent academic credentials and good communication skills in English and French, knowledge of German, Dutch or Luxemburgish would be an advantage;
• You are dynamic, and have good analytical skills with a strong orientation to understand and realise the underlying business needs;
• You have an independent mind but like to work in a team, in a challenging international and multicultural environment;
• High level of accuracy and good negociation skills are required.
