- Investment Bank - Hong Kong Based - PRC Retail Fund

Our client is a market leader in real estate investment management, with global track record of sponsorship, establishment and management of listed and unlisted REITs and funds. Their wholesale core property fund currently requires an experienced COO candidate to lead investments of retail assets in the PRC. The fund currently manages all leasing, operations and financial operations of 9 shopping mall assets in prime location across 1st and 2nd tier cities.

Reporting to the fund CEO, this role will work closely alongside the fund manager and require frequent liaison with JV partners and asset management services. Key responsibilities will include leadership of the fund, asset management, lease management, budgeting, reporting and business planning. Seeking new acquisitions and conduct feasibility analysis of retail/commercial investment and development deals will also form a large part of the responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years experience in retail and commercial real estate asset management. Property development and asset management expertise is highly desired whilst solid financial acumen essential for this role. Willingness for frequent travel in China is required. Fluency in English is essential whilst understanding of Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable.
