ALL OPTIONS is a privately-held company providing liquidity for several major financial markets and operates in trading units for market making and algorithmic trading in Amsterdam, Switzerland, Curacao and now, Hong Kong.
The new Procurement Specialist will have to provide support and advice to the local and global IT & Finance team. He/she will have to perform the main activities related to the purchasing process and has the desire to grow, together with the company, to a higher level of performance. He/she will act as the primary contact for all internal and external partners, such as the All Options IT Director and its vendors. He/she will report to the VP Finance who is based in Amsterdam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implementation and managing a central procurement process.
• Plan, organize, coordinate and direct all procurement activities to achieve on-time delivery while minimizing inventory levels.
• Providing purchase planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Ongoing research of potential supply sources and must possess strong negotiation skills to maximize savings.
• Oversee the management of vendor relationships in order to ensure that the organization receives the maximum value in terms of price, quality, reliability and incoming freight costs.
• Supporting the acquisition and contract administration of various categories of goods and services.
• Ensuring that procurement adds value through total cost of ownership and delivering service needs.
• Maintain AO/IC in line with company policies while continuously assessing its adequacy and implement improvements where necessary.
• Contract disclosure & administration with third parties.
• Managing supplier relationships for successful execution of all contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company objectives and local laws/regulations.
• Provide monthly management reports.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimal Academic/University degree.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably with proven procurement credentials in the ICT sector.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Exact (or comparable ERP Package).
• Hands-on, Self starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt well with change and can-do mentality without losing sight of the bottom line.
• Accurate and feels responsible for business results.
• Fluent English – both verbal and written.
• Excellent communication skills, by e-mail and phone.
• No 9 to 5 mentality / flexible and able to keep pace in a dynamic environment.
