This fully diversified finance group is a leader in its field and is currently experiencing exponential growth through acquisition and organically in its funds management business. As a result of this and an internal promotion they are seeking a Head of Fund Accounting/Operations. Reporting to the Divisional Head of Finance your role will be split between managing the fund accounting teams and providing financial support to the business in relation to new acquisitions and products. Specifically your key accountabilities will include:

• Responsible for the fund accounting/administration function for their unlisted domestic and international equity fixed interest funds incorporating a team of 22
• Implementation of the group’s financial control framework across the funds management business
• Ad-hoc project and analysis work as directed by divisional heads and the business

You are CA qualified with a proven background in funds management with some exposure to international as well as domestic funds. Whilst you will be able to demonstrate a solid technical accounting background the ability to communicate effectively on all levels and act as a bridge between the business and finance is equally imperative. The ability to manage and mentor a large team is also paramount. The ability to be firm and persuasive whilst still demonstrating a high degree of tact and diplomacy is also essential.
