Job Purpose:
To identify, propose, and develop market leading, customer-centred online marketing and technology propositions for the Citi IPB business.
To manage IPB project lifecycles from definition, requirements generation, through solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-deployment, meeting budgets, commercial targets, and delivery timelines.
Job Background/Context:
The Citi UK E-business team is responsible for all online activities for International Personal Bank brand.
This role reports into the E-business Commercial Development Manager and will have no direct reports.
Job Responsibilities:
Sponsoring E-business initiatives for the IPB business to drive greater value through the digital channel, including:
- Proposing new e-channel marketing and cross-sell opportunities
- Developing investment cases
- Sourcing and generating business and end-user requirements
- Drafting solution designs
- Sponsoring technical development
- Managing launch
Help E-business Commercial Development manager in developing a strategic channel roadmap with regards to new web technology developments for IPB
Identifying with the IPB Product, Marketing, and Technology teams, methods of cross selling products through the digital channel, and increase effectiveness of online application and servicing.
Understanding and translating business needs into detailed product functional and non-functional requirements and a customer-centred technical solution (JFP, intranet, online product applications, customer service, etc.)
Identifying success metrics and work with E-business Analytics team to ensure that appropriate measures are in place to track and quantify the success of initiatives post-launch.
Skills
Required Knowledge:
Development of investment cases for web applications and/or services.
Technical application development experience
Financial services platform experience a plus.
Required Skills:
Commercial acumen
Project management experience delivering web applications.
Budgeting and exceptional time management
Exposure to/familiarity with emerging and existing web standards, technologies, and concepts (Javascript, AJAX, Flash, Flex, CSS, Web 2.0, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidates will usually have a degree or three years relevant experience (or equivalent). However, exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and type of experience
