The main responsibilities for the Financial Controller include: -Corporate Finance - provide support on deal structuring, due diligence and acquisitions -External Financial Reporting - take the lead in overseeing and managing the preparation of interim and annual statutory financial reports -Monthly Reporting - manage the monthly group consolidation, balance sheet management and cash flow -Technical Accounting & Reporting - provide leadership in monitoring and communicating with external Auditors -Key Accounting Issues - monitor and act on developments (internal and external) on business issues affecting group P&L and Balance Sheet -Financial Control - oversee financial controls within finance operations area -Taxation - liaise closely with Head of Taxation (in NYC), to oversee tax accounting and forecasting
The suitable candidate should be a qualified accountant along with sound people management and interpersonal skills. They will also have gained extensive experience in UK Real Estate.
