• Member of investment committee participating in all decision making regarding investing • sourcing new investment ideas • due diligence analysis on hedge funds • general research on the industry, building relationships with industry participants (e.g. prime brokers) • monitoring of current and new investments • full report writing in terms of due diligence documents and monitoring reports as well as other projects

Suitable candidates are likely to come from another Fund of Fund and will require a previous trading background in order to have a full understanding of the products, the market itself and the practical implications relating to both.

This position will require someone to be able to have detailed technical and practical discussions with the Hedge Fund Manager, and to be able to have a level of knowledge that will allow them to challenge the decisions and opinions of that manager.

This is a Senior Investment Committee level role reporting directly to Head of Research.

Candidates will be considered from a global perspective.
