The Department
The primary function of the Issuer Relations department is the establishment, maintenance and management of Issuer business relationships throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The department provides the service for banking institutions, corporates, mutual funds, municipal governments.
Actively manage all aspects of commercial relationships with existing issuers in the EMEA region as part of the fundamental IR team.
Work closely with CFG management and analysts to ensure a high level of support on all commercial / fee-related issues
Participation in annual pricing review including modelling, analysis of impact, suggestions for pricing changes to Senior Management and timely notification of issuers
Advise internal clients and BD on complex pricing structures and participate in fee discussions with new clients if and as needed
Work with Business Development to ensure a clean and efficient application process
Work with Collections team to resolve any outstanding issues and to enable issuers to pay outstanding invoices
Cooperate with billing department to enable them to send invoices in a timely manner (FIP Hold, Billing Hold)
Assist fundamental team head in coordinating all necessary reports for senior management
Assist fundamental team head in coordinating all non issuer specific day to day business in EMEA IR
Support various internal projects if and as required
Qualifications
Good academic background (Degree in ideally Finance, Economics or business related discipline)
Excellent standard of education including Mathematics
Experience
Relevant experience preferable within a financial environment
Strong numeracy skills
Experience in capital markets preferred
Languages
Fluency in English and another European language is essential. (German, French, Italian or Spanish would be advantageous)

Good written and verbal communication skills
