Global Investment Bank is looking to add an Analyst to their Market Risk Reporting Group within the Market Risk Department.

Responsibilities for this role include: develop, implement and maintain risk reports covering trading activities; Review and analyze risk data; Coordinate with Market Risk IT to enhance and maintain high-performance reporting system; Participation in optimization and reorganization of data structures; Represent Market Risk Department at cross-functional working groups

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree along with strong problem-solving skills. Fluency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and a familiarity with fixed income, equity, and other traded securities are required. The candidate should have some experience with a programming language such as Visual Basic and familiarity with SQL database queries as well. Good writing and oral presentation skills, an understanding of risk management principles such as VaR (value-at-risk) and the risk representations are desired.
