KPMG's Corporate Finance practice in Bahrain and Qatar provides a range of services including in Mergers and Acquisitions, Financing (debt and equity), Valuations and Projects Advisory. Again these services are offered to clients in a range of sectors including Financial Services (conventional and Islamic), Real Estate and Infrastructure, Telecoms, Government etc. We focus on helping our clients in capital structuring, debt and equity raising, cross border acquisitions, business plan and valuations, privatization advisory, access the capital markets etc. Using cross-functional teams, we bring together the requisite expertise from across the firm, including tapping into the firm's industry sector knowledge. Our teams are focused on value creation and helping our clients to deliver successful transactions.

As part of the Corporate Finance team, you will work with a team of highly trained professionals providing advisory services in the range of services mentioned above, primarily for clients based in Bahrain and Qatar, but in markets in the wider MENA, Europe, South Asia and Far East. You will also have the opportunity to work on some of the key and challenging cross-border deals in the region.

Requirements

We require Senior Associates and Managers who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum post-qualification experience of 3-4 years (Senior Associates) and 4-5 years (Managers) mainly in Corporate Finance advisory. Preference will be given to candidates who have handled/played significant roles in equity/debt advisory, mergers and acquisitions and similar nature of transactions.
  • You should also be a strong project manager and a good team player, who is highly adaptable to work independently and effectively under pressure in a fast changing and demanding client environment.
  • You should also be able to demonstrate the ability to think strategically and be familiar with risk management issues. Skills in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet modeling, use of Microsoft PowerPoint, are necessary.
  • You need to have the attitude and willingness to learn, engage in constructive discussions, proactively provide solutions, take responsibility to take and deliver a transaction from start to finish;
  • Travel is required, mostly within the GCC region
