Who are M&G Group Operations?

M&G Group Operations supports the wider M&G business with a range of services, including fund administration, business analysis, technology support and operational risk. Within Group Operations, we have 3 graduate schemes and are looking to build our teams in the following areas:-

• Information Systems Scheme – technology focused

• Analyst Scheme – focused in the following areas:-

a) Information Systems generalists

b) Business Analysts

c) Data Management Analysts

d) Operational Risk Analysts

• Accountancy Scheme – based within Investment Operations

What's different about a graduate scheme at M&G?

From day one you'll be treated as a key member, taking an active and productive role. Whilst we take on only a small number of Graduates, we are keen to establish them into our teams as key resources. You will be aligned to and sponsored by a senior manager from one of the scheme departments. This will ensure you have not only a good foundation, but specific knowledge to advance your career. In addition, we will also provide you with a mentor, typically a senior person within M&G but from outside your department as they will give you a different perspective. All new Graduates also have a buddy, typically somebody who has recently been through our Scheme.

We will provide a comprehensive scheme that will progress and develop you in your career. In addition, we offer a competitive remuneration and benefits package, as well as technical and professional training, for example the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ). The Accountancy Scheme will also provide support towards the CIMA or ACCA qualification.

Over the course of the 18 month scheme we will provide you with the opportunity to explore the way the M&G business is run, interact with people in all departments and at all levels, allowing you to develop a wide range of skills and competencies within your chosen area.

We have run our Graduate Scheme for the past 6 years, continuously improving its effectiveness. During that time, we have been very successful in identifying and developing high calibre graduates, who have subsequently taken on demanding and important roles.

How to Apply:

To join us you will need to possess a minimum 280 UCAS points (or equivalent), a 2.1 degree, ideally in a technical or numerical discipline. If you do not have a degree, the relevant work experience will be considered. You must have the permanent right to work and live in the UK without restriction.

Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically. We are looking for drive, determination and an enthusiasm that will make a positive impact on our business.
