This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established and well respected market player. As part of the Management Team for Treasury Solutions, the Implementation Manager leads the Treasury Professional Services teams. This role will play a significant part in the strategic planning of the Treasury business unit. The position requires an extensive knowledge of the treasury industry as well as proven treasury management systems knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop and implement strategy for Treasury service teams so as to meet agreed performance plans
• Project Manage Treasury implementations – reporting on performance, delivery against milestones and budgets. Maintain appropriate systems
• Provide project management and business process planning advice and guidance to the Treasury Team • Provide creative and practical solutions to facilitate improved client processes and smooth project implementation
• Drive client / partner focus to ensure efficient and timely completion of project tasks • Key point of contact for implementation escalations
• Manage and develop direct reporting staff • Manage and control the Treasury team expenditure within agreed budgets • Liaise with other Professional Service Managers to understand all necessary aspects and client needs • Maintain awareness and knowledge of treasury systems market
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of best practice and provide suitable advice and guidance to direct reports • Contribute to the evaluation and development of theTreasury strategy and performance in cooperation with the Treasury management team • Support pre-sales, scoping and requirement definition programmes
Required experience
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the financial industry, preferably working in a large corporate and / or Treasury Management software vendor
• A minimum of 3 years in a professional services management role
• A proven track record in project work with good working knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project Manager
• A demonstrable understanding of work flow and functions within a corporate treasury
• Experience of implementing Treasury systems • Ability to produce and present professional and accurate written reports to both technical and non technical audiences, both internally and to clients Required skills and knowledge
• Role holder should present as a senior, dependable person that can install confidence and ownership of issues quickly, with strong inter personal skills
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
