• Management of the new business approval processing ensuring all relevant parties are involved and actively engaged
• Implementation of new business initiatives for the Division, including coordinating and managing resources internally and externally
• Planning and implementation of major support projects
• Coordination of annual planning, strategy and budgeting processes
• Management reporting
• Profitability monitoring including expense monitoring and cost control
• Managing relationships with local regulators in accordance with the policies of the group
• Compliance monitoring
• Representation on industry or regulatory committees where appropriate
The key attributes we are seeking for this role are:
• Excellent understanding of the banks internal processes in particular in relation to Operations, Finance and Risk Management
• A good understanding of equities and equity derivatives
• Effective project management, business and strategy planning skills
• Strong technical skills in accounting (preferably qualified Chartered Accountant)
• Good commercial acumen
• Excellent attention to detail
