Investment Associate - Japan - Global Investment Bank - Tokyo Based - Excellent career development opportunities

Our client is a leading investment bank with a successful history of real estate investments. Ranked amongst the world’s top real estate investment groups, they currently manage a multi-billion US dollar portfolio of direct and indirect property investments with regional focus across office, retail and hotel assets.

In preparation of their Asian fund launch an opportunity exists for an experienced real estate analyst to join their team. As part of their regional expansion plans, they are in search of an experienced acquisitions candidate to be located in Tokyo. Reporting to the Head of Japan, this challenging role will focus on investment duties whilst also encompassing deal sourcing, forecasting, feasibility studies, and asset management responsibilities too. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized degree in real estate and have a minimum of 5 years investment experience with a developer, agency or institutional investor. This role would suit a candidate with a proven track record and serious about pursuing a career in Japan. In order to succeed in this role, handling complex financial models and ability to negotiate at a local level is vital. Fluency in Japanese is required. (Those with less experience will be considered for Analyst role)
