A unique opportunity to join arguably the Infrastructire Market's most prestigious Portfolio Team
THE CLIENT Our client is a world-leading long term developer, investor and operator of public sector infrastructure assets in the UK and internationally. The team in question provides portfolio management / valuation / refinancing support as well as research, primary bid support and financial advisory within this £billion privately owned infrastructure group. Led by a Director, the team is made up of 2 other Analysts, 2 Senior Analysts, a Manager and a small Financial Modelling team.

THE ROLE To work as part of the Project and Portfolio Finance team:-

•Analysing and valuing existing projects and future opportunities

•Identifying and realising asset value enhancement opportunities both for individual projects and for the portfolio as a whole

•Supporting in the identification, development and execution of secondary market transactions, including refinancings

Responsible for:

•Evaluating PFI/infrastructure assets (value, performance and financial projections)

•Valuing investments, modelling and calculating investment and portfolio performance

•Reviewing and reporting of the annual performance of existing investments

•Supporting refinancing transactions both at individual project and portfolio levels

•Providing support for secondary market transactions

•Providing support for due diligence on potential acquisitions

•Various and varied ad hoc analysis

THE CANDIDATE Essential: •Graduate; ideally a numerate degree, e.g. finance, accountancy, business, science or engineering discipline preferred

Desirable: •Considering or in the process of studying for CFA •Undertaking or looking to undertake the Securities Institute’s, “Certificate in Investment Management”. Support to undertake this FSA approved qualification will be provided if necessary •Possibly ACCA/ CIMA/ MBA - or in the process of studying
