Corporate Development and Strategy Group of one of the most successful banks of all is looking for two Senior Associates
Our client is a tier one bulge bracket investment bank, who are looking to add two Senior Associates to their European Corporate Development and Strategy Team.

The team, working across European/ Middle East and Africa works on the (1) the formulation and implementation of corporate strategy as well as (2) project managing, as principal, the identification and acquisition of businesses into the group.

Working with the European Corporate Strategy Team will allow you to work as a full member of a team exploring ways to build out the company's franchise.

The role will involve:

• Formulating strategic plans and projects for the European business

• Interaction with senior management in the firm

• Mergers and acquisitions

• Assisting with specific corporate development projects

• Competitor and business analysis

• Managing, according to level, special projects

• Working with industry experts

We are interested in meeting people who will have a background of one or more of the following:

- Investment banking professional, probably in the M&A or advisory groups of a major bank

- Strategy consultants from leading firms such as McKinsey, Bain, Oliver Wyman

- Strategy professionals from other firms

Possibly you will have an MBA, although you will certainly have outstanding academics combined with a training with a blue chip firm

Investment banking experience is not essential, although candidates should have worked with retail, wholesale, asset management or investing banking clients.
